Your Year-Round Mountain Getaway

Crystal Mountain isn’t just for skiing. When the snow melts, the resort transforms into one of Washington’s premier summer destinations — and Crystal Chalets is the most affordable place to stay on the mountain.

Our fully furnished condos with full kitchens offer a better alternative to a Crystal Mountain hotel or off-mountain Airbnb. No daily commute from Enumclaw. No cramped hotel room. Just a comfortable home base for hikers, mountain bikers, wedding guests, and anyone exploring the Mt. Rainier area.

Better Than a Hotel, Closer Than an Airbnb

Most visitors searching for a Crystal Mountain vacation rental, Airbnb, or VRBO end up booking a place 30–45 minutes away in Enumclaw or Greenwater. Crystal Chalets puts you on the mountain — walking distance to the gondola, trails, restaurants, and bike park.

Compared to Crystal Mountain Hotels (the resort’s hotel rooms), our condos offer more space, full kitchens, and lower nightly rates. Compared to off-mountain vacation rentals and BnBs, we offer the convenience of being right at the resort with no driving required.

Summer Activities at Crystal Mountain

🪶 Hiking

Crystal Mountain offers miles of alpine trails accessible right from the resort. The Summit House at 6,872 feet — reached via the Mt. Rainier Gondola — offers panoramic views and trailhead access to some of the best high-altitude hiking in Washington. Wildflower season (July–August) is spectacular.

Mt. Rainier National Park is just 15 minutes from Crystal Chalets. Paradise, Sunrise, and the Grove of the Patriarchs are all within 30–60 minutes. Skip the expensive park lodging — stay at Crystal Chalets and day-trip into the park.

🚵 Mountain Biking

Crystal Mountain’s bike park features lift-served downhill trails for all skill levels. Rent bikes at the resort or bring your own — our condos have plenty of storage space for gear.

🥏 Disc Golf

The resort’s disc golf course is within walking distance of Crystal Chalets. A fun afternoon activity for families and groups.

🚡 Scenic Gondola Rides

The Mt. Rainier Gondola operates year-round, carrying visitors to the Summit House at 6,872 feet for breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier, the Cascades, and on clear days, Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens. Dining is available at the top.

🍽️ Dining & Events

The village restaurants and bars are open throughout summer, hosting live music, festivals, and special events. Everything is within walking distance from your Crystal Chalets accommodation.
